Adopting Your Golden Retriever Puppy
We have a litter of 4 females and two males that will be ready to join their new home the week before Thanksgiving 2024
An Overview
We are looking for healthy and happy homes for our new litter of six adorable pure-bred golden retriever puppies. We are not a puppy-mill churning out dozens of puppies a year. We are a Colorado Springs family who loves their goldens and bred our golden-girl primarily as a family experience and to help introduce these little golden angels into home where they can be loved and where they can help your family be complete.
Our fee for caring for and raising these puppies and for their adoption is $1,800 - around half of what some breeders and pet stores are asking. This service fee includes the puppies own paperwork needed for their individual/limited AKC registration. For those who want full AKC registration and breeding rights, this is available for an additional fee. For those seriously interested, please contact us for more details.

How We Raise Healthy, Adoption-Ready Pups
Caring for Mom. We ensure that the pups' Mom has ample access to good-quality calorie-rich dog food to help her be able to nurse growing and healthy pups. Pups have all the access they need to her and she has all the access she needs to them to make sure they have plenty to eat, are staying clean, and growing cuter every day.
Pup Socialization. Our pups spend most of their day together exploring, playing, and just snuggling with each other.
People Socialization. Our pups also have a healthy amount of socialization with people. We are a family with a mom, a dad, and four kids from 10 and up. This means that our pups get a lot of one-on-one time males and females of different ages to help them be comfortable playing and interacting with adults and children and just feeling loved.
Cleanliness. Our pup-mama tidies up little "puppy messes" around the nursery and keeps these pups clean. Bedding and toys are cleaned at least once every other day to minimize germs, etc.
Puppy diet. Starting at about 3-4 weeks our pups start transitioning from mama's milk to a good-quality, high-calorie, nutrient-dense puppy food. We'll send you home with a gallon bag of their favorite puppy food and info on where to gget more.
Pup Selection
We will take applications for our pups on a first come, first-served basis. We will work to honor gender preferences where we can and on this basis as well. By contacting us you will be able to set up a time to come spend time with your pup and get to know them, play with them, and maybe even sneak a snuggle!
When you've met your pup and are ready to secure your position in line a deposit of $400 will be required to hold that pup. The remainder will be due on adoption day.

Other Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring a pup back if we change our mind because of how addictingly cute they are? All adoptions are final. Please be sure you and your family are ready to give this pup the time and attention the pup will need for good bonding - especially during the first few weeks and months with you.
Can I get a refund of my deposit if something changes before adoption and we can't adopt the pup? If after you have placed your deposit your situation changes we will be able to return half of the deposit fee to you before the week of the adoption. After the week of the adoption deposits are non-refundable.
Do you have a recommendation for a good Veterinarian for future vaccination needs or if my new friend gets sick/needs exams? Absolutely! We have a great relationship with our Vet and would happily recommend them to you. Please remember that just like people, dogs are recommended to have well-visits and vaccinations on a schedule that the Vet can tell you more about.
Where can I go for more questions about Golden Retrievers? The AKC website is a good resource for information abotu the history of the breed, training tips, and more.
How do I train my golden retriever? Fortunately we live in the "golden age" (excuse the pun) of information on training a pet. PetStores, Blogs, and even YouTube will have wonderful tips on how to help you and your new pup how to speak each other's language.
I love my new golden and my friends are jealous! Will you have more in the future to offer? Great question! As we mentioned, we are definitely not a puppy mill and have given great care and attention and a good investment of time and resources in helping to rear these pups. Check back with us, though. We may have another furry little friend down the road for your friend as well.... :)
